The Immling Festival attracts over 20,000 visitors from Germany and abroad each year with high-profile artists and musicians, as well as its exceptional location in the rural idyll of Chiemgau. Classical operas produced in-house and varied concert evenings combined with our unique 'Aprés Opéra' events in the star tent make every concert visit a special experience.

For our year-round festival operations, we are currently looking for:


Stage Craftsman/Woman (M/F/d)

Immediately – Full-time

The following tasks await you:

  • Production of scenery, props, and other objects
  • Assembly, reconfiguration, and disassembly of stages and stage sets
  • Occasional assignments during rehearsals and performances
  • Participation in the setup and takedown of tents and other temporary structures
  • Assistance in the maintenance of our workshops and operational resources
  • Involvement in the construction, repair, and maintenance of estate-owned properties and facilities
  • Participation in the care and maintenance of the company-owned vehicle fleet

What we expect from you:

  • Craftsmanship and relevant experience
  • A completed training as an electrician, carpenter, painter, etc. would be advantageous
  • Driver's license Class B
  • Physical resilience
  • Enjoyment of working in a team

Stage Technician (M/F/d)

Immediately – Full-time or part-time

 

The following tasks await you:

  • Supervision and assurance of the proper functioning of theater technology
  • Construction and building of stage sets
  • Technical support during rehearsals and performances
  • Contact person for technical matters of staff from all productions

What we expect from you:

  • Qualification in event technology and/or relevant experience
  • Enjoyment of working in a team
  • Analytical and creative thinking to quickly tackle unexpected challenges
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
