Children's Choir

Since 2008, there has been a children's festival choir in Immling for young singers aged five to twelve. Under the direction of Iris Schmid, even the youngest get a taste of the 'stage air' – whether in supporting roles of the grand opera productions or in specially staged children's operas.

Giving young talent a stage and introducing them to music has been an important concern of Intendant Ludwig Baumann for many years. This season, there is also an ambitious children's project: 'Cinderella' – fairy tale opera by Gioachino Rossini based on 'La Cenerentola' will celebrate its premiere on June 18, 2023, at the Festspielhaus.
